Now that the holidays are past and I have a few minutes to breathe again, I can catch up on blogging all my holiday makes!
My kids still let me put them in matching outfits… so how could I NOT make something with my favorite Rifle Paper Company print from the past year?! (Fabrics are: Brussels Washer Linen and Rifle Paper Company – purchased at Z Fabrics)
For my girl’s outfit, I made the Geranium dress from Made By Rae. I have made her a few from this pattern before, but this was the first time that I had to – gasp! – size up! My girl is growing, and this pattern is available in expanded sizes. She selected the solid blue for the bodice and the beautiful floral for the skirt. Next time, she tells me, she would prefer a tunic – her styles and tastes seem to change by the day!
Based on the success of last year’s vest for my little man, I decided to make another. I used the Oliver + S Art Museum Vest pattern. He decided that he wanted that floral facing out – not scared of a bold fashion decision! My mother also helped to create this precious bow tie.
How cute are these kids??
