I’m MaryBeth, a crafty mama and teacher living in Portland, Maine. I love to sew, knit and stitch, I love to hike on local trails, and I love the local culture that is available in Maine’s biggest (little) city. In addition to my role as a teacher, I keep busy parenting two active children (A, 12, and B, 9), and I manage to hold it all together with my loving husband, S.
In 2018, I decided I wanted to start a blog to focus on my makes – a way to document the fun stuff I create and keep building on the marvelous fiber arts community I have found through Instagram. But as summer approached, all I wanted to do was hang out with my kids and hike in all the amazing places that Maine hides under snow for the rest of the year!
This blog also includes a little more of my life and interests along with my crafty side – hence, “Crafts, Family, Community!
So that is my plan for my little lifestyle blog… keep up with the amazing crafty community out there, dabble in family and local life, and focus on the healthy, outdoorsy lifestyle that is so prominent in Portland and around Maine.
I hope you’ll join me.
