Me Made May Week #4

Unpredictable weather at the end of May led to a variety of me-mades to finish off Me Made May. And I completed my goal – hooray! Each week, I wore at least three outfits including me-mades, plus I completed two garments! I’ll catch up on the blog posts for my new March top and Free Range slacks soon.

Sew Liberated Strata Top in Brussels Washer Linen

Sew House Seven Free Range Slacks in Brussels Washer Linen

The Sew House Seven Free Range Slacks were my second handmade garment of Me Made May. I’ll do a full blog post on them soon… but I do love the waistline, with its comfy elasticated waist. The high waist allowed me to pair with my Strata top, which doesn’t get a ton of use due to how cropped it is. I love that I have another way to break out this top, because I love the neckline and color!

Fancy Tiger Crafts Adventure tank in floral knit

Liesl & Co Everyday Skirt in Brussels Washer Linen

Another Adventure Tank + Everyday Skirt outfit! This outfit got me through a very hot day in Maine – although thankfully we cooled off at the beach for part of that day. This combo gets me through a lot of hot and humid summer days in Maine – what a treat to bring it out in May!

RTW Top and Cardigan

True Bias Emerson Pants in Cotton-Hemp Blend

This pair of Emerson pants were the first pair of pants that I made, a couple of years ago. I have also made them as shorts, and even pajama pants! I particularly love the comfortable cotton-hemp blend fabric of this pair, which I got from Z Fabrics in Portland, ME.
